2. How do I apply to participate in the Te Kei programme?
To apply for Te Kei you will need to contact your DVC Māori office as the spaces for this programme are limited.

Applications are sent electronically through our AMOKURA system. It is not a paper based application process.
There is a section of the application process which requires your Line Managers approval. Through the AMOKURA system your Line Manager will be requested to note their support of your application to participate in the programme.
3. Is there a cost to participate in the Te Kei programme?
Āe - there is a cost to participate in this programme. This cost is met by your university if you are selected to participate.
For the 2023 programme, this cost is $2875.00 (gst inclusive). This is the programme cost only and does not cover the cost of travel to the residential wānanga.
4. What is the time commitment for the Te Kei programme?
The residential programme will take place over 3-days. For the 2024 intake this will take place over the 20 - 22nd November 2024.
For the 2024 intake, the residential programme will be held at the Pā, University of Waikato.
You can also expect to participate in a series of online wānanga to work through a series of different modules. This will be approx. 2 hours each month.
Prior to the monthly wānanga the Programme Convenor will provide you with a preparation sheet for the upcoming wānanga. This might include academic readings, videos or an activity which will need to be completed prior.
